Hi my little loves. Mama is 37 weeks preggo and have officially hit the “any day now” point in this pregnancy with your little brother Jameson. Mama lately has been feeling very blessed, appreciative and overwhelmed with emotions thinking that our time as a family of four is coming to an end and we are about to all embark on a very special journey.
That journey is welcoming a new member to our family and more than anything welcoming a new sibling for you guys. What’s so crazy is that since you both came so close together, being only 14 months apart, you two have truly both taught me how to be a mama equally. It wasn’t like we had a lot of “first born” time. Kaila you came when JJ was only 6 months old. We were so surprised to find out we were pregnant again but nonetheless we were so excited to add to our family.
You two have been mama’s little ones and I’m so grateful for you guys. I’m nervous about balance, giving equal attention to all three of you, getting back into the swing of things after Jameson’s arrival, leaving you both for the hospital delivery and so much more. But I am equally excited about having three beautiful children to love on, inspire, teach, watch grow up and share so many memories with. My hopes for you three is that you will always know that there is NO ONE like your very own blood, that strength is in numbers, that your dad and I had each of you out of true love, that we prayed for you guys and that you were all wanted. That we knew having more than one baby and having them so close in age would be difficult but we welcomed challenge with happiness in our hearts. We wanted you guys to grow up close in age, right by each others sides and always having the comfort of knowing “I have a sibling”. We know that not many people are able to have one or even multiple kids so just know that we appreciate you three more than you’ll ever know and that we are honestly so honored to call you ours.
