Our family is currently in town from AZ so we decided to do some sightseeing. It’s amazing how much we’ve yet to see even though we live here in SoCal. So for starters, JJ has been into the movie Ice Age so we thought it was the perfect opportunity to bring him to the La Brea Tar Pits & Museum to check out their Ice Age display.
We also had the opportunity to check out some modern artwork since the LACMA was right next door. Did you know the LACMA for children under 17 is free??? If you’re local to Los Angeles these museums are a definite must visit. As we are preparing for our journey in homeschooling this was a great way to get our feet wet in the field trip arena.
